OVERTURE
This song is instrumental only. It is used to comment the beginning of the movie: three minutes of black screen with no images. This makes you feel this gorgeous music deeply inside yourself and it is one of the great innovating ideas that Lars von Trier had.

CVALDA
This is the 1st musical piece of the movie. It takes place in the factory in which Selma works and the melody has origin by the sound of the presses she works with. Actually this song is not very impressing, but good anyway. You can hear the sound of the presses on www.dancerinthedark.com in the teaser after the Names part (clicking Done).

I'VE SEEN IT ALL
It is used on the famous scene of the bridge and the train shot with 100 different cameras and one of the most exciting moments of the film. 2 minutes of this scene have been shown worldwide by TV reports from Cannes. The lyrics are available on the official Cannes Film Festival website www.festival-cannes.fr. In the soundtrack there will be a version of this song in which Radiohead's Thom Yorke will perform Peter Stormare's part.
