I am grateful Grapefruit

Björk & Didda do the grrrl thang for Meester Fly, show off their tattoos. A rare sight indeed.

@ the Arena Meester Fly learned that Alexander McQueen was in house and was going to present an award to Björk. Yes she had won. They spent some time in the dressing room practising something.

:

One of the few people who recognised Björk and was not too busy with themselves was the one and only Alan Partridge, the media star.

That's the way to do it! I am so sorry to miss out on the Danish Grammy's, my bumble apology, but I made certain that some of my good friends were there. I saw them on the TV, they looked like they were having fun.

But here we are and the Brits Awards '98 Ceremony in the London Docklands is over, and Björk won the award as the best International Female Artist. And as if we didn't know that already!!!

I had a stressful weekend as I got stuck on a ferry going to Denmark, there you have my reason for missing the Danish thang, then I took the train over to Paris to meet the Possé, only to find out that they were moving onto London for the Brits and they were going by plane. Ohmygawd! Another revelation: Meester Fly is scared of flying!!!

After an eventless flight into City Airport, we drove through the tunnel to the Isle of Dogs to get to the London Arena.

When at the Arena some persons turned up in the dark, but only to welcome Meester Fly, they had heard of mee.

It was an interesting process trying to find a table for the Possé, all the seats were taken, which nearly resulted in Björk being stuck backstage in the dark and not making it on to the stage when the winner was announced...

& what was the Night like. Hectic, what a word, all the big deals floating about, minding their own business and me minding mine as well.

But she got to the stage and received her award from Alexander McQueen and spoke these eternal words very slowly:
" I am grateful...grapefruit!"
Goodbye for Now!
